Are you looking for an exercise buddy? Then keep scrolling - this is not your dog! Clementine is a couch potato better suited to binge watching Netflix during a pandemic. She is an adult (~4 year old) Coonhound mix who loves laying on the couch, chewing on bones in the yard and taking short walks through the neighborhood. She loves other dogs but we don’t know about cats or small pets. She is 100% hound and needs people who can be strong leaders and will understand her breed. She has shown some possessive behavior with toys but is easily redirected. Car rides are a big hit and she likes being tucked in with a blanket at bedtime. Clementine is a dog built for comfort, not speed. Spayed, microchipped and housebroken. Ready for your couch!

Due to Godiva/Clementines size and resource guarding of toys we are asking for an adoptive family with large dog experience and kids over the age of 16.

In the meantime if you have questions or are interested in me, please fill out an adoption application at www.ruffstartrescue.org.

An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal.  Please check out our website, www.ruffstartrescue.org for more details and additional pictures on any of our animals! All Ruff Start dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention (dogs) as well as heartworm tested (dogs). Ruff Start Rescue is a foster based rescue. Animals are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a facility where animals are kept.
