Hello there my name is Smooch. I would make the best companion cat if you're looking for a pet that's low maintenance to keep you company. I have a few requirements for a new home but they aren't anything crazy if you ask me. First, I need to go to a home with no young children and no other pets. Loud noises and sudden movements scare me so you can see why a quiet, calm home is ideal.I would do best in a home where I have plenty of options to go be by myself when I need to take a moment. This doesn't have to be anything fancy. I'm pretty creative and can find spots for myself anywhere. I can getover-stimulatedeasily and sometimes that makes me resultto hissing, swatting, or nipping. However, I am not aggressive because this behavior is never unprovoked (my foster parents say they're just trying to walk down the hallway but I swear sometimes it looks like they're charging me!!) and rarely happens anymore. I am an independent but social cat meaning I like to be in the same room as you at all times but I don't necessarily like 24/7 attention. At first I was not very snuggly but I have become quite the love bug! Lately my foster mom can't sit down without me running over to take a nap on her lap. I do great with the litter box. I have all my claws and sometimes I use them. I never go out of my way to scratch anything besides my scratcher but if I lose my balance you bet I'm going to use those things to make sure I don't fall. Wouldn't you??!
Some quick facts about me:
I LOVE wet food.
My favorite toys are the ones I can bat around on the ground.
I sometimes try and play with my own shadow because I don't quite understand how shadows work.
No keyboard in your home will go unslept on. Especially if you are trying to type on it.
