Baby J is an absolute sweetheart, who will bond with her human very strongly! She is a little sensitive to change, and can be skittish around big noises or fast movements. A calm household with no young children would be the best for her. She loves being brushed and combed, and - since she's kind of chunky - there's a lot of her to pet and love on! She is a busy body when she's being affectionate, so expect lots and lots of pacing, rolling around on the floor, weaving in between your hands, jumping on and off your lap, and so on. She also loves to give head and cheek rubs to everything in sight, marking you and all your stuff as belonging to her, of course. As she gets more comfortable, she gives excellent cuddles when sitting in your lap or being held. She can only stay still for so long, so she'll want to come and go as it pleases her. She's a proper lady who is clean and consistent with her bathroom duties in the litter box. She'll likely need a week or two to settle into a new home with new people, but your patience will be rewarded with a sweet, lovely lady who truly enjoys your company. She learned quickly to use a ladder to get up on a loft bed - which she loves because she can be up high and watch everything happening out the window. She spends most of the night sleeping on that loft bed with her foster right now, and she'd love to do the same with you! She's not often vocal, but will tell you if she's stressed or wondering where you are. She's very interactive, so you can just talk back to her to help calm her down. If you want a busy, affectionate cat with the loudest purr, Baby J might be the best new addition to your family.
