Let's meet up TODAY, Glory is such a sweet girl that her bio doesn't reflect as much as in person.......SHE'S SO WORTH IT.
GORGEOUS GLORY needs her forever home!
Weight: 40 lbs.
Hi, I'm Glory! I'm such a snuggly, fun girl, once you give me time to trust you. You see, I've had a hard start to my young life, so I'm a bit shy and fearful. I would do really well in a quiet, calm home with a settled adult that has time to give me plenty of attention. I don't do great with extra people and a lot of commotion, so I would love to live without other pets or children. I love to be out exploring, sniffing all the smells, and getting some bursts of energy out, but I'm also a great lounger. I have some hip dysplasia, and a knee that gives me a little trouble, so my foster mom gives me lots of brain games. I've really gotten strong, and my foster mom thinks I would be an awesome agility performer. They say I am a mix of Lab and Pit, and a couple people that know Greyhounds, thought I might be that too. What a great combo-- but it will take a good leader and experience in my forever home. I have a high prey drive, and I am extremely fast, and can jump real high. I've really been coming out of my shell. I've been working with new people, and my foster mom is so impressed at how easy the transition is away from her. I'm becoming a "real puppy", and have to be watched carefully, otherwise, I'm into everything.....which is a great step forward considering how scared I was! I'm a very good listener, but you have to be sure you're the boss, because sometimes I like to push the limits. My foster mom is so happy that I haven't had an accident in the house lately, so though I may at first regress, she considers me potty trained. I'm also kennel trained, especially if you give me a frozen stuffed kong, and some soft music to listen to when you leave me. I'm good for about 3-4 hours in the kennel before I start getting whiny. I know sit, come, kennel-up, and down and we've been working on stay and shake. I even follow sign commands for sit, come, stay, and down. I think if you are a confident and mellow person, and want a great companion pup, I would be the best girl for you! If you want to meet me, reach out to Ruff Start, and let me show you my stuff.
