Hi, I'm Glory! I'm such a snuggly, fun girl, once you give me time to trust you. You see, I've had a hard start to my young life, so I'm a bit shy and fearful. I would do really well in a quiet, calm home with a settled adult that has time to give me plenty of attention. I don't do great with extra people and a lot of commotion, so I would love to live without other pets or children.
I love to be out exploring, sniffing all the smells, and getting some bursts of energy out, but I'm also a great lounger. I have some hip dysplasia, and a knee that gives me a little trouble, so my foster mom gives me lots of brain games that I love to do, and I don't have to be out in the scary world.
They say I am a mix of Lab and Pit, and a couple people that know Greyhounds, thought I look like that too. What a great combo-- but it will take a good leader and experience in my forever home. I have a high prey drive, and I am extremely fast, and can jump real high.
As I've been coming out of my shell, my foster mom says I'm becoming a "real puppy", because if I'm not lying right next to you, I'm into something, or wanting to play hide and seek.
I'm a pretty good listener, but you have to be sure you're the boss, because sometimes I like to push the limits.
Because I'm still a bit fearful, I have a hard time telling my foster mom when I want to go out, but I try by climbing on top of her. We are working on bell training, but that's a little scary too.
I know sit, come, and kennel-up, and we've been working on stay and down.
I think if you're a bit of an introvert, and want a great companion pup, I would be the best girl for you!
If you want to meet me, reach out to Ruff Start, and let me show you my stuff.
