Meet Micah. Not much is known about Micah's past. He was found as a very skinny stray. Because of his poor nutrition his coat was also not the best. Now that he is on a healthy diet he is gaining wait and has soft fur. He is such a people pleaser, he looks to you for affirmation and a tail always wagging. So far, we have not had any accidents while in the house or in his kennel, but we do keep a close eye on him. He is kenneled when we are not home and overnight to sleep, he does not make a sound while in his kennel. He is still trying to figure out what toys, bones, and fetch are, I don't think he was exposed to many good things in his life so far. While outside Micah likes to walk around the yard, hop-army crawl-roll around in the grass, and watch what us crazy humans are doing. If you sit in the grass, he will immediately come and sprawl up next to you and just lay by you. He loves attention. It doesn't matter if you are male, female, young, or old. If he sees a person he just gets happy and hopes to get some attention. He is learning to walk on a leash, sitting for treats, play fetch (he sits and watches me throw the ball with zero interest), and sitting at the door to go in and out of the house (pretty much has this mastered). He loves to get pets and cuddle up next to you, he really thinks he could be a lap dog. Currently Micah lives with two adults, a 5-year-old boy, and an older lab. He would love nothing more than to have a loving home to grow up in.
